Carrier Onboarding

Let's Get You Rolling

This is everything we need to start booking for you. It takes about five minutes and you only do it once. Nothing here commits you to anything — the agreement is separate, and you can walk away with a week's notice at any point after that.

1

Company & Authority

Exactly as it appears on your authority — this is the name that goes on every rate confirmation.

2

Insurance

Brokers verify this before they'll tender you a load, so we need it accurate.

If you haul reefer without it, some produce loads are off the table. Worth knowing up front.

3

How You Get Paid

Brokers pay you or your factor directly. We are never in the middle of your money.

Why we ask

If you factor, your factoring company has a Notice of Assignment on file and brokers must pay them, not you. Sending a rate confirmation to a broker who pays the wrong party creates a mess that takes weeks to unwind. We put the right remit-to on every load from day one.

4

Equipment

What you've got determines what we can book. Check everything you run.

MPG matters more than you'd think — it's how we check whether a fuel surcharge is actually covering your diesel.

5

How You Like to Run

This is the part that makes us useful instead of annoying. Be specific and be honest.

No judgment. Everybody's got a list. We'd rather know now than waste your Tuesday.

6

Drivers

Skip if you're the only driver.

7

Documents

Email these four to dispatch@sapperdispatch.com. Phone photos are fine as long as they're readable.

Send these four

  1. Certificate of Insurance (COI) — ask your agent to email it; they do this daily.
  2. W-9 — signed and dated.
  3. MC Authority letter — the FMCSA grant letter, or a SAFER printout.
  4. Notice of Assignment — only if you factor. Your factor has it.

That's the same packet every broker will ask you for, so having it in one place saves you time on every load from here on.

Your information stays with us and goes to brokers only as needed to book your loads. We don't sell it and we don't share your number.
